WOW! I can't believe it is already time to start another school year! I am very excited to start two new experiences this year: teaching in a 1:1 setting AND joining the Grundy Center High School team!! I've decided to start calling myself a Rebel Spartan, which just sounds cool...spread it around like wildfire.
In this blog, I will try to keep you up to date with the general goings-on of my Gladbrook-Reinbeck English 9 and 10 classes, as well as my Grundy Center English 10 classes. I feel like having a central location for you to access general information will be better than a) bombarding you with tons of emails and b) trying to maintain 3 separate websites (although those will be available with more specific information). I am hoping to eventually include some examples of student work here, but mainly this will just be a weekly/bi-weekly update of what we are working on in class. Please don't hesitate to contact me at any time via email (no student-specific information on the blog, please!) or phone. I look forward to working with your students AND with all of you!
